4 stars because it is not perfect out of the box. off the bat, the car uses 2 type of screws, m2x4 dome, and m2x4 flat. I reccomend replacing ALL of these with torx, as torx is less prone to stripping as all the origional hex screws are somewhat rounded from assembly. once you upgrade every screw, get yourself some new ball join ends, they snap easily, and also strip out.. get ones where you can insert your own screw, i would recommend M2x10 and use metal ball joint ends. you will also need to shim the transmission shaft. if not damage will occur. this seems like a very bad thing BUT not even close, we are talking around 25$ above the asking price to upgrade everything to make it bullet proof, and the chassis is incredible. definitely worth it.
The new TT24 is a nice piece of kit. It drifts very well with little setup to be done. I do suggest going thru and lightly loctighting the ball studs and grub screws once you have it to your liking. Other than that it’s great, and so is Helidirect.
Excellent chassis.
Lots of adjustments
Such wow

The TT24 drives well but I've had too many issues with very little use to recommend this chassis. After roughly 6 battery packs with this TT24 I've had to replace both front arms, the top shaft and gear, and will soon need to replace the rear spool. Many of the suspension components are held in with m2 set screws, most of these screws have very poor engagement with the aluminum parts they thread into. Simply adjusting the front arms a few times lead to both front arms m2 set screws stripping out the threads. I found a similar issue with the m2.5 set screw that holds the top gear on the input shaft to the transmission. The gear is machined plastic and has roughly 1mm of thread to hold the setscrew in place. with only a few hours of use this the car lost drive because this screw backed out and ruined what little threads are there. I also see quite a bit of wear in the spool output cups, again after only a few hours of use.
The new G-Force TT24 slides incredibly well, it surprised me quite a bit with minimal adjustment. After some fine tuning it was really good, it's definitely a competitive chassis.
